This is a slide a kid could get hurt on. A rite of passage for thousands of kids. It is steep, high and has a step halfway up that wiggles when stepped on. It was this way fifty years ago and it hasn't changed.
When you could hustle up, slide down and run around and do it again you knew you were no longer a little kid.
What park is that slide at? Kellogg? It looks familiar to me.

Yes, I have been there, twice, I believe. This summer, and the other time I'm not sure of, but it was really long ago.
