A MIGHTY GOOD ROAD
When I was a kid this was the "Rock Island Railroad" line. Hobos passing through would come to our house and my Mom would always give them something to eat. They knew where the sympathetic homes were. I don't know how long it's been since I've seen a hobo riding in an open boxcar.

That's neat about the hobo's. I can see your mom being so generous to them. My grandma lived by a railroad when she was little and hobo's would come to her for food house too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment on my blog! Glad you liked my pictures.
I have gotten two of my pictures published in a magazine. I should show you them.
Do Alice and Pam share your love and skill of photography?
ReplyDeleteAlice is not much interested in photography. Pam is not fanatical like I am, but when she takes pictures she has a very good eye for composition.
ReplyDeleteI think I heard something about you having some pictures published. I better check your blog to see if they are there.
this is a great picture
ReplyDeleteThanks much Henzy. I appreciate it.
