SPRING'S AROMA


With the lilacs being in bloom this week, the backyard smells wonderful.

Seasonal delicacies come and go quickly, but as one exits, another enters. When the lilacs are gone, the peonies will bloom. The strawberries are now flowering and will be ready to eat in a few weeks. Then it's on to sweet corn and tomatoes (my personal favorite), peppers, onions and spices from the garden.

THIRSTY ROOTS


The tree stands tall and strong.
Trees don't want anything, but they do need things. Obviously this one is getting what it needs.
A few more bouts of flooding and it's likely to become a bridge across the creek.

SPRING'S PROMISE


It's been feeling a lot like Spring lately with temperatures in the 60-70 degree range, and if you look closely there are many visible signs as well. It is a most welcome change.

MORE NIKON D90




I am really liking this camera. Also getting used to Nikon's Capture NX2 Photo Editor. The camera comes packed with a sixty day trial version of it. After sixty days, I might know how to use it.
